Shaine Griqua Advice and Development Centre

About Us

Shaine Griqua Advice and Development Centre was established in 2012 and officially launched by Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Honourable John Jefferey (MP), in 2014. The organisation was founded to comprehensively address issues such as gender-based violence, discrimination, and poverty in the Northern Cape. The organisation’s mission gained urgency after the tragic loss of one of their volunteers, who was brutally killed by her boyfriend while pregnant, leaving behind two young children. This devastating incident underscored the need for intensive services to support victims of abuse and prevent femicide. The organisation also has branches in the Free State, North West, Western Cape and Gauteng.
