Sub-grants awarded in the past 36 months (1 September 2021 to 22 August 2024)
In addition to the sub-grants awarded below, FHR also contributes to strengthening human rights with direct payments to service providers on behalf of formations or organisations and institutions needing or requesting that support. These direct payments are not detailed below. They amount to just under ZAR 10 million in the 36 months period. Given that FHR is both an intermediary (sub-granter) and implements four sizeable programmes, our onward granting ratio currently sits at 23% of our annual spend.
