Over the last ten years more and more young people have moved across their borders into other countries to study, work or start a new life. They have carried with them immense talents and rich experiences that are neither harnessed nor appreciated. The Community Healing Network (CHN), has designed an education programme in partnership with the Foundation for Human Rights (FHR) to address this in a unique way. A challenging mixture of adventure education coupled with rights based study has been designed.
The programme will run from March to June 2016 and culminate in a celebration and graduation in June. The youth selected will receive a bursary for their books and a stipend to conduct community research over six weeks. Youth that are at School, Technikon, University, Employed or Unemployed are free to apply.
